OISTIC is a non-governmental organization based in Konnagar in suburban Kolkata.

The word “ OISTIC”, in Bengali is not merely a name on a scare headline but simply is a concept, meaning “sacrificial” which can only be perceived through perseverance. 

It embodies the philosophy of its members, who consider their activities are in essence sacred offerings to society. This is their way of giving back to society by working with the underprivileged and helping them with their aspirations.

Gradually the fidelity reposed by so many patrons emboldened us to register ‘OISTIC’ on the 5th day of August 2003 under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961.

We are the strong followers of three P’s – patience, perseverance, and Performance – for bringing our cherished dream of constituting ‘OISTIC; as a platform for social activities, to reality and have the conviction that; OISTIC’ would remain engraved in all through its act of renunciation and services.

The dream of the members of OISTIC is not only to turn their organization into a platform for social activities but also to instill their perceptions of contributing altruistically for general well-being amongst those, who are associated with their activities.
